Executive Summary
Widening and structural retrofit of the Valley Creek Bridge. The project added two additional lanes, structural safety barriers, and replaced decayed support abutments.
The Challenge
The bridge had to remain partially operational during construction, handling over 25,000 vehicles daily, while avoiding ecological disruption to the creek habitat below.
Our Technical Approach
Install temporary modular structural bypass lanes
Use micro-piling machines to minimize ground vibrations
Erect environmental silt curtains across the creek bed
The Solution & Execution
We engineered a temporary structural steel span that redirected traffic dynamically during off-peak hours and used high-strength precast concrete beams for fast installation.
